 | Home Office CAST KR1 SP1 Certified The VestGuard Zip-Front Stab Vest is certified to the latest HOSDB CAST 2017 standards for stab proof body armour at a KR1/SP1 level and protects against knives and needles. Due to its soft steel construction, this armour also protects against blunt force such as punches or blunt weapons with the protection given edge to edge for the whole of the armour panel. |
 | Soft Steel Construction The armour panels are made using a soft steel construction to provide a thin, lightweight and flexible armour and these are held by a heavy-duty Cordura outer carrier. While not as flexible as aramid vests, the soft steel panels do provide a higher degree of needle protection. The stab proof body armour panels are also oil and waterproof. |
 | Heavy Duty Zip Front Vest The VestGuard Zip-Front Stab Vest has an outer cover that is made from heavy-duty Cordura fabric with reinforced edges.  | Practical with Plenty of Pockets With two vertical zip chest pockets, two bellow pockets, shoulder radio loops and front and rear Velcro for the mounting of badges, the VestGuard Zip Front Stab Vest is well designed for life on the front line. With a weight of 2.97 Kg (size large) and with the armour panels only being 3-5 mm thick, the vest is very practical for daily use. It also comes with a small velcro patch at the front and large velcro patch at the back for badges as standard. |
| Adjustable for a Secure Fit The VestGuard Zip-Front Stab Vest is fully adjustable with hook and loop straps situated at the shoulders and on either side of the waist. These straps can be tightened or slackened to ensure that the stab proof body armour fits securely around the body while still remaining comfortable. |
| Moisture and Heat Reduction Lining The VestGuard Covert Stab Vest cover is lined with Vestguard’s patented CoolMax lining. This lining is made of a fine mesh which acts as a barrier between the user and the outer layer. This helps keep the user cool in warm weather and reduce sweating. |
