 | Hytera’s Latest Body Worn Camera UK Model The Hytera VM580D Body Worn Camera is the first on Hytera’s new generation of wireless body cameras. Replacing the VM550 & VM550D, the Hytera VM580D is thinner than its predecessors with a built in sim card slot for video streaming and push to talk functionality. It is capable of operating over LTE networks and offers 1080p at 30fps video recording. WHile not the best body camera UK model for high resolution, 1080p at 30FPS is pretty standard. |
 | AES256 Encryption The Hytera VM580D Body Worn Camera utilises AES256 encryption in order to remain GDPR compliant.  | Streaming Capable The Hytera VM580D Body Worn Camera has a built-in sim card slot for use with mobile data. It can utilise wireless LTE networks to stream video to a control room or server location depending on your software and support infrastructure |
 | PTT Functionality The Hytera VM580D can act as a substitute for a separate radio due to its Press-to-Talk functionality. When used in conjunction with its software ecosystem, the Hytera VM580D can stream audio to a central control room just like a radio. |
 | Infrared Nightvision with a 10m Range The Hytera VM580D has a built in Infrared lamp that allows footage to be taken in dark environments with up to 10m visibility. When the infrared kicks in, the footage is recorded in grey scale. |
 | Built-In Back-Up Battery The Hytera VM580D has a built-in back-up battery that allows the camera to keep function for between 3 – 5 minutes after the primary battery has been damaged or removed. This allows for the seamless transfer of spare batteries during extended shifts without interfering with recording even if done continuously. |
 | Robust and Rugged Design The Hytera VM580D Body Worn Camera has an IP68 rating and has been drop tested to 2m according to the MIL MIL-810G 2 standard which is more than most commonly available body camera models. |
