This armour offers a high level of protection against slash and spike attacks which protects the user against most common sharp offensive tools such as knives, screwdrivers, glass shards and more. |
 | Aramid Fibre, Nylon, Steel Fibre Construction The Fortis Fibre Zip-Front Stab Vest panels are constructed with multiple layers of Aramid Fibre (more commonly known as Kevlar), Nylon and Steel Cord tightly bound and sealed in a tough Nylon binding. The panels are carried by a comfortable Cordura, Zip-Front cover. |
 | Flexible Soft Body Armour The Fortis Zip-Front Stab Vest does not use plates or metal sheets. This means that it is far more flexible than commonly available hard-armours. By using soft body armour panels, this vest does not restrict movement or greatly reduce mobility. |
 | Adjustable Shoulders & Sides plus Removeable Epaulettes The Fortis Zip-Front Stab Vest has hook and loop(Velcro) secured adjustable shoulders and sides. This means that the armour can be made to fit as tightly or loosely as the wearer requires. The armour’s Cordura cover also has epaulettes across the shoulder straps which can be easily removed should the wearer choose to do so. |
 | 2 Large Utility Pockets The Fortis Zip-Front Stab Vest has two deep, hook and loop(Velcro)-secured utility pockets on the front that can be used to store essential items. They are roughly 14.5cm deep and large enough to hold most mobile phones, notepads and some radios. |
 | Covered Zip for Quick Mobilisation The Fortis Zip-Front Stab Vest has a Covered Zip that allows for quick mobilisation with minimal adjustment as you do not need to access the armour through the side straps as one must with tabard vests. The zip is covered by a hook and loop (Velcro) secured, Cordura flap that prevents assailants from trying to interfere with the armour during a confrontation. |
 | Internal Cooling Mesh & Lumbar Support The Fortis Zip-Front Stab Vest has a cooling mesh inner-lining which helps keep the wearer cool in warm weather. There is also a lumbar support strap along the back of the inside of the vest. This can be wrapped and secured around the wearer to make the armour fit more securely. |
