	Certified Stab, Spike and Cut Protection The Fortis Covert Stab Vest is certified to the Home Office CAST 2017 KR1/SP1 standard. These panels are constructed with 24 layers of high-performance Aramid Fibre (kevlar), offering enhanced resistance against edged and spiked threats while achieving a significant weight reduction compared to previous standards.
	Covert Body Armour One of the most important features of concealed body armour is the ability to remain undetected. To this end, the Fortis Covert Stab Vest employs a lightweight polycotton carrier rather than the traditional cordura version that overt models use. It is much thinner, and softer on the skin as well as having much thinner straps.
	Proprietary Aramid Fibre Construction The Fortis Overt Stab Vest uses 24 layers of aramid fibre (Kevlar) is sealed in thermoplastic to make up its panels. These panels are engineered to absorb heavy impacts, minimize backface trauma, and stop edged or pointed weapons from penetrating the armour.
	Bendable, Low Detection Armour As stated above, the Fortis Covert Stab Vest is more pliable than harder armours. This particularly important for concealable body armour as stiffness and a lack of flexibility make it very apparent that the user is wearing a stab vest.
	Discreet, Polycotton Straps with Velcro The Fortis Covert Stab Vest has ultra-thin polycotton and velcro straps on the shoulders and sides which not only allow full adjustment to conform to the desired size but also is discreet enough to avoid detection even when only wearing shirts and tops.
	Cool For Use in Warm Weather Like all Fortis covert body armour, this model is designed to keep you cool whilst wearing it. A fine heat reduction layer sits between the user’s body and the inner cover. This prevents the build-up of sweat and general heat while performing one’s duties.
