The EasyNew PD-140 is a highly sensitive, compact metal detector wand that competes with much more expensive brands such as Garrett and Nokta when it comes to sensitivity. The PD-140 is well made and can detect ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Its design appears to be based on Nokta and Ceia security wands.
Linear_Detection_Technology Can Detect Smaller Masses
At its highest sensitivity setting, the EasyNew PD-140 Metal Detector Wand can pick up small masses such as sim cards through fabric such as jeans. It can also pick up slightly larger masses such as allen keys through clothing at more of a distance.
Remote_Handset_Control Control Panel
The EasyNew PD-140 Metal Detector Wand has a control panel style interface with a dial that allows you to move between sensitivities and a rocker switch to control audio/mute and power off. There are also alarm, low battery and power LED indicators about the dial.
Sensitivity Icon 3 Sensitivity Levels
The EasyNew PD-140 Metal Detector Wand has three set sensitivities to choose from. At its highest, it can pick up things like sim cards and allen keys, at its lowest it will pick up large masses such as guns and knives while not giving false positives for smaller objects.
Stainless Steel Construction Icon Solid Construction
The EasyNew PD-140 Metal Detector Wand is surprisingly well made for a Chinese Metal Detector. It doesn’t have the normal issues of misfitting parts and seems pretty solid. It has a twist to open and close battery compartment which is unusual, most likely copied from the Nokta NMS range.

The EasyNew PD-140 is a compact, lightweight device that comes in smaller than most of the more established metal detectors. It is only 34cm long and 8cm wide with a 14cm detection area. It is easy to manoeuvre around the body when doing a search. It weighs only 270g.
