Byron Logue, Interconnective MD, to Judge British Security Awards 2025

Interconnective Managing Director, Byron Logue, has once again been appointed as one of the official national judges for the British Security Awards 2025, hosted by the British Security Industry Association (BSIA).

The British Security Awards remain the longest-running annual awards event in the UK security industry, bringing together key figures to recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of individuals, teams, and companies across the sector. This year’s prestigious ceremony will take place on June 17th at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.

Since joining the security industry in 2018, Byron Logue has led both Infologue and Interconnective Security Products, focusing heavily on the development of advanced security and detection technologies. Under his leadership, several brands have been successfully launched, including The Partner Body Cameras and RISK Metal Detectors. Alongside his business ventures, Byron has played an active role in industry initiatives and remains a vocal advocate for raising standards within the sector. He is particularly passionate about increasing the visibility and recognition of smaller security companies — most notably demonstrated by the expansion of the Infologue Top 20 into the Infologue Top 100, which highlights a broader spectrum of companies in a sector traditionally dominated by larger organisations.

Before entering the security field, Byron spent nearly 25 years living and working across Africa and Asia, including serving as Marketing Director for healthcare technology ventures in Beijing such as U-Plus and the Puhua International Hospital, a leader in stem cell research. He continues to draw on his international experience in his work within the UK security industry.

Of the appointment, Byron Logue said, “I am once again honoured to have been selected as a member of the British Security Awards’ esteemed judging panel. These awards give us the opportunity to shine a light on the best and brighest our industry has to offer and for that, I am priveleged to be able to support them.”
