The Adams AD10-2 Hand Held Security Metal Detector uses single-button operation and does not require any sensitivity adjustment in order to be deployed. Widely used in airports, police forces and security companies around the world, the AD10-2 uses the optimum sensitivity level for most everyday purposes.
Safe_Metal_Detection Highly Sensitive, Highly Safe
The Adams AD10-2 is sensitive enough that it is capable of detecting masses of metals as small as 0.1g. It has been tested rigorously and approved for use around pregnant women, pacemakers and causes minimal electromagnetic interference to electronic devices. It has additionally been tested to the relevant standards under EN5008-1 and EN500082-1.
Adjustable_Alarm Dual Alarm Notification
The Adams AD10-2 has dual detection alarms. When a successful detection is made, both an LED visual signal is displayed as well as an audio piezo alarm. This allows for use in both low-light and high noise environments.

Weighing in at only 262g, the AD10-2 is light and fits comfortably in your hand. It has a hardened plastic cover that protects it from the elements and allows for use in more challenging outdoor environments. The AD10-2 has an IP64 Water/Dust resistance rating.

The AD10-2 uses Adams’ patented Linear Detection Technology which produces a cleaner signal which is resistant to background interference that could cause false positives or distortion.

The AD10-2 uses a standard 9V battery and is designed to use as little power as possible when not in use. This means that it has up to 360 hours of power depending on the frequency of use.
