Cuirazz Covert Vests

The thin, light and comfortable Cuirazz Tabard Style Covert Armoured Vest is designed to be worn under garments for use when discretion is essential. The use of discreet armour means that attention is not brought to the security personnel and applications include any covert operations, close protection assignments and any environment where overt vests could be regarded as confrontational.

The Cuirazz Tabard Style Covert Armoured Vest design offers wide upper torso body coverage and a close-fit with elasticised adjustable shoulder and waistbands with Velcro closures and a tabard design. The polycotton outer cover is both machine and hand washable and has a heat management system which enhances wearer comfort in warmer environments, making use of spacer fabric to wick sweat to the sides of the vest. 

The anatomical design is ideal for longer periods of use due to its enhanced comfort and mobility. Standard colours available are beige, white and black, with other colours being available on request. The standard size range is from Small – XX Large. The Cuirazz Tabard Style Covert Armoured Vest is available in four HOSDB standards: Standard Protection (HG1A, KR1, SP1) (2003), Standard Protection Extra (HG1 KR1 SP1) (2007) Higher Protection (HG2, KR2, SP2) (2003) and Superthin Protection (HG2, KR1, SP1) (2007).

All Cuirazz Body Armour is produced in a UK UKAS accredited ISO 9001:2000 manufacturing facility. Our armour packs have a 10 year manufacturer’s warranty, which is double the industry standard. The vest covers have a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty. An optional extra includes flame retardant covers, ideal for when fire-proofing is required.

All pricing excludes VAT & Delivery. In cases where the waist is greater than 44″ and/or the chest is greater than 52″ there is a £50 surcharge. Ladies vests carry a 30% surcharge.
